Paddling About

We’ve spent the last few days of day sailing around and Carole swimming, me paddling on the edge, one swim was enough for me at these water temperatures -14 degrees C..

Water warming up nicely
It's such a hard life

We also had another Padel lesson, great fun, especially as two Spanish ladies asked us for a game after the lesson - 2 hours of running about and then another run to get back in time for the Queen.

Padel courts are a combination of a tennis and squash court
Well, its nearly Easter!
Well, when I say the Queen it was a symphony orchestra and a rock band together with 4  “International Cantors”  doing all the Queen hits.  The Spanish are very enthusiastic clappers and, like the Welsh, they can all sing (unlike us English, especially me!).

A great night - nearly three hours of top music - and loud enough for our ears to be ringing when we left.

We’ve spent the last couple of days sorting the boat out ready to leave her when we return home to Witherslack.

Boat put to bed with it's summer cover on

Now back home for a while but looking forward to going sailing soon!  Flight booked to come back on 15th May!

A last evening walk before we leave
