Tea Bag situation getting desperate.
Got the bikes out and cycled to Sanlucar about 10 miles into a very strong headwind, expecting a small village but found a big town, well worth the effort though. Very picturesque. It was the first holiday town in Spain and is full of old buildings, pretty squares and bodegas for the local mazanilla and muscatel, sadly by the time we got there the place was shut for their 3 hour lunch. Columbus sailed from here on one of his trips to the New World. Hope to visit again, but when it’s open.
The surrounding area grows cut flowers for export and the roads are lined with either “garden centres” or bodegas.
Will decide whether to leave for Cadiz Bay later, after checking the weather forecast.
