Carole's new bike's first trip

After our days electric bike hire in Denia,  Carole decided that she neeeeeded an E-Bike.  So after a lot of research and several test rides we bought a Volt Infinity LS E-Bike.  And she's in love!
What a difference it's made to her cycling, we now go up any hill in the area, and I'm now working a lot harder just  to try and keep up.  She loves the fact that she still has to work at pedalling but the motor gives a helping hand when necessary.

We took the train to Carlisle, after cycling to Oxenholme railway station, and then cycled along part of the Reivers Route before heading south along some beautiful lanes to Keswick.  We found a B&B to stop at there.

The next day we carried on south, including going up the 1 in 4 hill at Red Bank - Carole whizzed up, me less so!  Before heading down to Skelwith and Hawkshead. Then across the Windermere ferry before heading home.

A fabulous two days away with weather to match.
