April May June of Covid Year

Whilst we couldn't travel as we normally do these months provided some great opportunities for fun!

Cycling - with the Lakes empty we cycled everywhere, going food shopping by bike, circumnavigating Lake Windemere, exploring areas of the Lakes by bike that we'd previously driven to.  Fittest we've been for a while.

Happy Birthday Carole!!! xxxxx

May also saw us doing some major surgery to the garden, removing trees and hedges, so we could rebuild the old stone wall around the lower garden. We then replanted with smaller trees and shrubs,  after being used to an enclosed garden it felt weird to be able to see the village though.

Once things eased a little we were able to get about on the paddle boards and had a blissful couple of days around Coniston and Windermere.

It was tough!
