Wild Swimming

 Carole has always enjoyed wild swimming but this year has been great as a group of friends from the village have got together to go swimming at least once a week for most of the year, including a ridiculously early, regular, 0700 Friday morning swim.

Here are just some of the swimming spots Carole's been to with her friends.

5th December, a winter swim in Derwent water

Last swim of the year, a 6 degree dip into Rydal Water on 28/12/20. And what a setting to end the year!



Being a male, cold water swimming wimp - this is my sort of swimming - outdoor, heated infinity pool at Low Wood hotel for my birthday with my girls - Carole and Jen!
