This year Carole and Nighean's annual riding holiday was in Bulgaria.
They rode over 250km in the week without having to open a single gate - amazing for UK riders.
A few days in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, ended the holiday in more ways than one as Nighean got a nasty kidney infection, she managed to fly home but ended up in hospital in Lancaster for over a week.
Ooh and Carole only fell off once! Great bruise on her bum!(sadly no photo)
