Sweden - July 2018

Our Dutch friends, Peter and Anita invited us to join them for a few days on their fabulous boat Barracuda.  They'd sailed it to Sweden and so we had a wonderful time cruising around the Swedish Archipelago.

Amazing boat and an amazing place, with great people, what could be better!

The Barracuda - 72ft of fun, comfort and amazing technology

The Tivoli Gardens amusement park in the background had some fabulous rides which Peter and I tested - and then we got thrown out of the bar because we were laughing so much they thought we were drunk - the Swedes take their fun far too seriously! - Never did get a pint!

The helm with the outside BBQ area just in view - the roof lowers itself at then touch of a button!

And they're in

Narrow channels

Peter can moor very close to the rocks using telescopic legs which lower down through the hull and fix the boat to the seabed - no need for anchor and chain here.

Temperatures were in the low 30's.

They never should have visited the ABBA museum. Good job I've not uploaded the video!

Stockholm is well worth a visit - beautiful city.

After we left Barracuda we hired and car a toured around for a few days before flying home, it really is a pretty country.
